ABOUT THE ROLE Provide timely and accurate tickets to customers ensuring the smooth flow of customers over the scale. Assists in the coordination of truck dispatch orders to ensure maximum efficiency of trucking. WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH Provides excellent customer support to internal; and external customers Ensure that all COD orders that Money is collected and properly documented Prepares deposit bag in according to Company Policy Ensures that tickets are verified for numbers, dates and time accuracy and ensures that customer trucks (Internal and external customers) leave the yard properly loaded. Ensures that safety, compliance, environment and DOT requirements are followed at all times. Coordinates truck dispatch to jobs withorders received from Dispatch office and operates computer to produce appropriate customer tickets. Sends transaction register and ticket copies to main office on a daily basis. Answers phone and takes accurate messages for other in their absence. Gains and maintenances product knowledge necessary to answer customer questions. Tares trucks (empty weight) on weekly basis and records as appropriate as well as maintains accurate records of tons sold by product. Performs housekeeping duties to ensure that scale house is clean and orderly. Assist plant employees as required Performs other administrative duties as assigned. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Education: High School Diploma or GED Good customer focus and attention to detail Ability to work in a team environment and pitch in when needed in other departments Prior experience with scale work a plus. Additional Requirements Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment, including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicablelaw, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator sealmeets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
